To help you prepare for your visit to the Ohio Safety Congress & Expo®, we have provided some helpful information related to Columbus and the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
Directions and Parking
The Ohio Safety Congress & Expo® is hosted at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Their address is 400 – 500 North High Street Columbus, Ohio 43215. Driving directions to Congress can be found here.
A few parking garages are available around the Convention Center. Please note that advanced parking can be purchased online here. We would recommend paying ahead of time since this will guarantee you a space at your selected parking facility.
Food within the Convention Center
There are many of food options in and around the Convention Center. The South Café & Marketplace offer a variety of food options on Level 1 near the South Garage and Nationwide Boulevard entrance. For more information about the restaurants within the South Marketplace, please click here.
There are also food options within the Discovery Café. The Café is located inside the facility’s west entrance, between Exhibit Hall A and Exhibit Hall B. For more information about the Discovery Café, click here.

North Market and near by Restaurants
There are numerous restaurants within walking distance of the Convention Center. The Historic Short North has been a public market for 147 years and has many restaurant options. Outside of the North Market, there are many restaurants located on or near High Street such as; Bareburger, Ruth's Chris Steak House, FYR Short North, Kooma sushi Restaurant, Martini Modern Italian, and The Naked Bird.
WIFI
Free Wifi for light use like reading emails and web browsing can be found throughout the Convention Center and meeting rooms.
Accessibility
The Convention Center is highly accessible for people with disabilities and limited mobility. The Convention Center has permanent building access accommodations such as wheelchair ramps, automatic doors, elevator standards, door-width standards, parking facilities and restroom accessibility. Additionally, the Convention Center has wheelchairs if you (or another attendee) is in need of one. Please contact Public Safety directly at (614) 827-2547. Things to do in Columbus
The Short North is right down the road from the Convention Center. Known as the art and soul of Columbus, visitors are invited to explore the vibrant neighborhood known for amazing art, dining, nightlife, fashion, home décor, and unique gifts. Additionally, the Franklin Park Conservatory, COSI, Segway tours, and the Columbus Museum of Art are all near the Convention Center and are fun tourist activities to participate in.

The Ohio Safety Congress® attire is business casual. It is recommended that participants also dress accordingly for the weather.
