Continuing Education

To receive an attendance certificate for the continuing education offerings below, complete these steps by March 31.

  1. Attend the entire presentation including Q & A.
  2. Complete an evaluation and respond to three quiz questions.
  3. Print/download an attendance certificate.

Note: OSC22 sessions do not offer credit for rehabilitation counselors, disability management specialists, nursing home administrators, sanitarians, or wastewater operators. Contact your accrediting board or commission for options to self-report your OSC22 attendance.

General credit (IACET)
General sessions and live educational sessions are approved for continuing education credit by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).

Many organizations accept IACET credits, including:

  • Board of Certified Safety Professionals
  • American Board of Industrial Hygiene
  • Institute for Safety & Health Management

Simply attend the entire session, complete the session evaluation and quiz, then print an attendance certificate for the sessions you attend.

On-demand sessions do not offer IACET credit.

Human resource
Most live educational sessions have been pre-approved by the HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®). The pre-approved identification number is communicated on the attendance certificate/transcript. Make note of the activity identification number and use it to claim credit toward your HRCI recertification requirements.

General sessions and on-demand sessions do not offer human resource credit.

These sessions are approved for up to 5.25 hours of nurse credit. The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Ohio Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. These sessions have been approved by the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Continuing Legal Education for up to 7.5 total CLE hours. BWC will report legal credits to the Ohio Supreme Court by April 10, 2022. For more information contact BWC's Learning Services.

Case manager
This program has been pre-approved by The Commission for Case Manager Certification to provide continuing education credit to CCM® board certified case managers. The course is approved for up to 7.5 CE contact hour(s).
