Continuing Education

Only in-person attendance qualifies for continuing education and BWC program credit. Refer to individual sessions for associated credit awarded for in-person attendance.

To receive an attendance certificate for the continuing education offerings below, complete these steps by March 31
  1. Attend the entire presentation, including Q & A.
  2. Have your badge scanned as you leave the session.
  3. Complete an evaluation and respond to evaluations questions.
  4. Print/download an attendance certificate.
Note: OSC23® sessions do not offer credit for rehabilitation counselors, case managers, disability management specialists, nursing home administrators, sanitarians, or wastewater operators. Contact your accrediting board or commission for options to self-report your OSC23® attendance.

 

General credit (IACET)

Ohio Safety Congress® is an accredited provider of continuing education and training by the International Association for Continuing Education and Credit. 

Human resource

BWC is a recognized provider of recertification credits. HR Certification Institute® preapproves some of our sessions for HR (General) credit towards aPHR™, aPHRi™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™ recertification. 

Nurse (RN, LPN)

These sessions are approved for up to 11 contact hours of continuing nursing education credit. The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. 

Attorney

This course has been approved by the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Continuing Legal Education for up to 12 total CLE hours. BWC will report legal credits to the Ohio Supreme Court by April 10, 2023.
